Trade someone gallant likes. Tell him he’s gone next if he doesn’t make it work ASAP. Or just fire him now and get torts back.

Moving player x to position y or to line z isn’t going to magically make the whole team click. Something is fundamentally broken and incremental changes won’t help

- picklerick

The only thing they can do is trade for a guy like Reilly Smith, but I doubt the Knights are going to move him now. It will be another veteran leader for the team. HOWEVER, its more of the same of what we have here.

Personally...

Kreider, Zib, Kakko
Panarin, LAF, Strome
Chytil, Goodrow, Blais
Hunt, Rooney, Reaves

I think this could work.

You forgot to mention the beating Gudbrason handed out. Or the cheap headshot from Reaves.
As Flame fans, the booing of Fox was awesome! He turned his back on the Flames and deserved all the attention he got. I’m sure that’s not the only reason Sutter had the team trying to finish their checks on him, Norris trophy winners should always get that.

Because Breadman is so gifted and can dish or finish, give him the struggling guys and see if he can get them going...

Put Reeves on the wing with Zib and Kreider and let him clear some room and wreck havoc for those 2 and see what shakes out for a period.. you can always go back.

On the back end who knows.. that was ugly all over.

I’m going to post this again because it got lost at the end of the last blog:

Moving player x to position y or to line z isn’t going to magically make the whole team click. Something is fundamentally broken and incremental changes won’t help

It’s systemic. It starts at the top and makes it’s way down to the players. I remember saying this in preseason, because even then it was evident we were lacking… well everything

Maybe it is. Atleast if they try to shake things up theres an acknowledgement that everything isnt ok. At the very least, I want to see Goodrow at center.

I always thought we signed him for that purpose until galant came in and said “chytil is a center”

That Reaves hit actually looked like he was going for the puck. Fox will always get the boos in Calgary. Don’t blame him for leaving tho. No room in the lineup and who the fuk wants to live in Calgary

I agree on the Reaves hit to a degree. Looked like he extend his shoulder accidentally on purpose. We’ll let the player safety decide.
Lots of places a person could live and make a living, Calgary is beautiful on the edge of the Rockies. I don’t live there but have. Unless you’ve been there it’s hard to judge.
I think what really influenced Fox’s decision was the fact he had Ranger pjs as a kid.

Aside from fox being a rangers fan he wanted to stay local. It worked out for the rangers but they should change that rule

I said this last night. When players give a list of cities for no trades in their contracts I guarantee Calgary is one of the cities

Wow - you said it - so who are we to argue - it's true!

Who are you? How can you guarantee this? What city do you live in?

What a stupid ass baseless comment you make.

Dude I don’t know. I’m sure Calgary is great. You came on this blog in the midst of a full blown meltdown about the state of our garbage team.

Lets wait until we play at least 20 games before we pass final judgement:

Young team, still finding their way, new coach, new systems --- lets give them a bit of time to put it together....

Agreed, a week ago we had a 60 minute effort and many were wondering if the Rangers could dominate this year.
Ur team is young, finding their feet in the NHL , and getting to know their new coach…whatever system.
Was angry last nite too, but still hopefull.
