I wasn't able to watch the game but the Flyers are holding their own right now and staying near the top of their division despite a few injuries and of course missing Kevin Hayes so far this year.

Giroux looks like a guy looking for a new hefty contract

I haven't checked this but the Flyers have to have one of the oldest lineups in the NHL. Seven of their top ten scorers this year are all in their 30's.

Bill when they going to do the right thing ans send Samu to juniors? Does the GM even pay attention as to what is going on? This kid needs to play. Not only play, play meaningful minutes.

He's making me look foolish for my offseason remarks about him. Even the goal he let in last night I couldn't get mad about. Just a weird one.

On a side note with all the talk about steaks last night I’m going to giant to get ribeyes.
They have 21 day dry aged steaks at one of the stores. One half inch cut for the wife and one one inch cut for me.
I do charcoal grill for these. A little salt and pepper both sides and sear when grill is approx 500.
After both sides are done I put on indirect heat until medium rare.
I then dredge the steaks in course ground salt and pepper both sides then a quick sear.
Serve with garlic Rosemary mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus or squash.

Missed all but the final 8 minutes. Jones looks dialed in. A few big saves late in 3rd. Good to see PK get another 0-fer.

3 out of 4 points in division. Still think we should have beaten the Pens in regulation. Bad effort imo. Big win last night.

Leafs provide another strong test.

Strong D and opportunistic goals. That will be our MO this season.

GHost seems to be doing very well for Arizona. 9 points ( they have only scored 19 goals), over 19 minutes a night. He will get a decent return if they decide to move him at the deadline. Assuming he keeps up his play.

Normally yes but these are prime black angus.
The center city market in Harrisburg is closed on Sunday and usually you have to preorder dry aged steaks from the butcher there.

Ghost will always get his points, but he almost has to score at a dynamic pace to be worth his defensive liabilities. He is still a -2 on the season despite leading the team in points. On another note, their supposed stud defenseman(Jakob Chychrun) has ONE assist and is a whopping -20!! Eh what??

-2 on the worst team by far doesnt look out of place in any way. In fact that is probably good when all is factored in.

Agreed, by his standards -2 on a team like that is probably really good, but we shall see if he can maintain that level of play.

We have only seen Jones in 3 games, but so far so good. The Flyers got points vs a bad Coyotes team and depleted Pens and Caps teams. Can't wait to see what the Flyers look like once Ellis and Hayes get back on the ice. The next 10 games will be tough, so these 10 games will be a big test for the Flyers.

-2 is actually phenomenal considering that AZ is -32 goal differential after just 10 games

Could only imagine if the Flyers played the oilers and Calgary the way the Rangers did, I assume they will need to blow up the team. They just are not good enough, most all of their players are busts.

On another note Calgary is playing really good hockey

First off, for those who think I only criticize and can’t give credit where it’s due, both Risto and Sanheim played very well last night. While the team, overall, still needs to be better, last night was a step in the right direction and kudos to them.

OTOH, how long can the Phantoms allow the Lappy experiment to continue? He seems to be in way over his head as the head coach and the team seems both disorganized and wound way too tight. Personally, I’d let him go after today’s game and bring in a veteran coach to replace him.

I just went to throw some praise at Braun. He has stepped up big time when we needed him and he already has more points through these first 10 games than he had all of last season.
He is an unsung hero right now. I hope Ellis comes back before we work Braun too hard though
RR playing stronger each game. Let's hope he keeps it up and learns to play this way more often than not
