Good morning everyone.

Bill Bryce Brodzinski is off to a hot start. What is the word on him? Any potential there?

Whats up with JOB? He hurt? Benched?

Any thoughts on John St. Ivany?

They looked tired and out of sync last night.
Disappointing performance but not every game can be a beauty
Pick up the pieces and prepare for the next game

It's good to see frost coming to life finally. I can't believe how big of a mess the phantoms are... I think we were all expecting better of them considering the talent that they have on that team

Forgettable, boring, awful game. But most worrying was no idea how to beat a trap. Not all offence can be opportunistic.

Flyers barely squeaked past a struggling Canucks squad only to run into the blazing hot Flames team with only their 2nd home game. Markström has been phenomenal. It was good seeing Hart's continued strong play but I'll take a 2-1-0 3 game road trip record basically without a 2nd line pivot and their 2nd best defenseman. Braun's top pairing minutes really showed up last night especially against the Gudreau line.

Can’t wait to hear about 3 games on 4 nights and a long trip to the west coast as excuses

Bill, I suppose you can't go public too much about Lappy, but is this a TedLasso situation or, uh, to be kind, "just not a good fit"?

Also interesting to see Phil Myers only playing 3 games this season. He opened the season with a 21 min performance against the Kraken and his ice time has since been whittled down to under 15 mins and now scratched it appears.

You've got to pick up the pieces , C'mon, sort your trash better
Pull yourself back together, Maybe you've got too much cash

Maybe the so called talent is some what overrated? Besides Forest and Frost who up front is a legitimate prospect?

I wish the kid only the best, but so much for the star in the making Jonesy used to go on about.

If the trend continues I’ll be worried. Got the important 2 wins out of 3. The western trip usually has a clunker.

We made Calgary look super fast.

imo lappy is in over his head. He had no business beg gifted that job. Start him out n the ECHL to get his feet wet as a head coach. Learning on the job as the flyers top farm club is just not smart for either party.

They're professionals. They're not allowed to be tired or jet lagged because athletes don't/aren't allowed to have emotions or feelings because they make so much money

Stupid excuses

I looked to see if he was injured and the team didn't have him listed as injured on the website.

Have you ever seen a trade where every guy involved has either fallen flat on their face or is injured immediately. Some in the trade may have never gotten off the floor but geez. So far it’s a train wreck for everyone involved

They are highly trained professional athletes. They travel on charter flights. The way people make excuses for them you'd think they are flying coach on southwest with little kids crying and kicking the backs of their seats for 5+ hours.

Emotions and feelings have nothing to do with conditioning or the ability to compete.

He has played the same amount of games as Ryan "no injury history" Ellis

Bad game by the Flyboys. The only silver lining is that Hart looked good despite giving up 3 goals. Macewen spent time in the penalty box. Will AV play NAK in the next game?

First, I want to give Calgary a lot of of credit, they are by far one of the best defensively structured team I have seen play so far this year, they gave the Flyers very little ice to operate in. Also, I noticed in the 1st period the Flyers were not at their best, their passing was poor and it was clear they didn't have their legs, so I must give the Flyers credit for sticking with the Flames as long as they did. Carter Hart had a lot to do with it, he played outstanding once again.

However, in the other side of the coin, it was clear to me Seeler was the weakest link defensively and the Flames were taking advantage of it. I don't blame Seeler, since he tries his best, but his best is clearly not good enough to be more than a borderline NHL player. Also a legit second guess I have with AV is putting Sanheim and Seeler out their on the PK, that was not a smart move. Finally, I don't to complain too much about the refs, but the number of ticky-tac calls against the Flyers this entire road trip really disgusts me. Yes, the Flyers are taking too many penalties and they have to be responsible for that, but IMO the refs have a big part in it.

So for the few that were on the Myers bandwagon, is it time to just admit he is not good?? Fresh start with a team that needed help on defense and the guy is a healthy scratch. Should tell you all you need to know!
