Realistically money can't fix the crimes they committed because they knew the guy was a rapist, did nothing about it, then recommended him for a position coaching kids that he also sexually assaulted. Sounds like everybody knew about it from the top down so a lot of people are responsible for what happened and a lot of people should be going to jail for their crimes.

Something just seems off with us. We're putting in gutsy efforts and finding ways to get wins but they just seem so disjointed. No one is playing up to their potential. I think the defenders are playing solid but there isn't a single forward that is consistently playing well. Like, where is my boy Sharangoalvich. I had him pegged for 35 goals this year, and thus far he just seems lost. We need a spark. Hopefully Jack is back soon.

What an absolute poop show

Did anyone rewatch the Mangiapane breakaway goal and the laughable attempt at a back check by Ty Smith. He pulled up short before the guy even started his move on Wedgwood!!

It's only the first period, but again this team looks disjointed, the antithesis of teamwork. This was no way Daws fault, he got hung out to dry, that is not how to develop prospects. Really questioning Ruff's management.

How did he end up back here

So we beat a team in Chicago who still hasn't won a game, an expansion team and a team that people predicted to be a team that is actively tanking

Even though we are playing with a 3rd and 4th string goalie, we have to ask the question if Ruff is the right coach for the job. Last season we gave pretty much everybody a pass because covid and the schedule but some of the key issues from last year are persisting. Our defensive structure just doesn't cut it and our special teams are putrid. And these things we might be able to overlook if we were scoring at a high rate, in which we're not doing either.

I don't understand what the overall strategy this team is trying to use because nothing they are doing is effective. I have a hard time believing that all of our players are just bad and can't do anything, or that Hughes was the only player on this team capable of being good. We wouldn't be winning these games if Hughes or Blackwood/Bernier were playing either, they just might be closer in score.

Not arguing with you, but this was never a playoff team. The point was to develop and get better. Tonight is horrible so far, but not entirely unexpected. Stick to the development plan, it might be painful. My concern is that I do not see a plan, they look out of sorts three games in a row, no growth at all. Put that on coaching staff.

I'm not saying we are a playoff team either but was expecting that we would progress and be in games but we were dominated by the caps and are lifeless tonight
