It’s all pretty despicable. But this isn’t new in pro or college sports unfortunately. These organizations have always been protective of athletes and coaches. It’s not just hockey. While I despise a lot of the pc crap going on these days it’s about time some of these cover ups and double standards are being addressed. All of the guys present in that meeting should be gone from hockey. |

Agree. This isn't political correctness. It's about having civilized standards. Though determining who knew what this long after might be impossible. |

So Quenneville decided to push the rape of one of his players by one of the coaching staff aside so they could best focus on the Stanley Cup finals!?! Wow. That’s deplorable. Complete lack of humanity. He just went from being one of my all time favourite coaches to now being added to the human garbage pile in my mind. He deserves to be banned from any position in any sport for the rest of his life for his negligence and failure to even try to protect those under his watch, even if it’s a one off situation. He neglected someone’s life for a championship. That’s brutal. |

If you read the report from the law firm that investigated, the entire CBH management absolutely knew that Aldrich engaged in at least unethical behavior and possibly a whole lot more. He should have been separated from the team immediately. That did happen but not until after the season ended.

Bowman being forced out shouldn't be any great loss for the Hawks, When he got the GM gig all he did was take credit for all the great things Quenneville and Tallon did. |

He has to. Otherwise, it could be an omission of negligence used against the organization in court. Once again, attorney’s looking for another big payday, have another fish to fry. They have ruined our country with the “don’t take law into your own hands, call an attorney” mantra.
How bout, the 20 year old player beats the daylights out of that video coach? I know I would have. Playing college hockey in my early 20’s, I know it would have been an easy fix. Problem solved. Sometimes the only language a corrupt individual knows, is to have the sh!t kicked out of him. It hurts a lot more than another lawsuit where the attorney’s win.
If that 20yr old player was on my team, and I saw that, I’ve had done it for him, no questions! Call me a Neanderthal, but my remedies work! Beat one assault charge, and plead one to a misdemeanor. 237$ later, I’m feeling good about the outcomes!
All the best to the 20yr old victim! |

As awful as this is, the question remains what have these men learned from this? Because they chose to cover this up, a minor child at a high school was sexually assaulted. Is the lesson learned that they should fix themselves to do the right thing so that these abuses are dealt with or is it I better do the right thing to keep my job?
Wirtz saying Bowman would do the right thing in 2021 is hollow. Bowman didn’t impress much with his virtue signal in the 2021 draft with the 8 or so group of accomplished women standing behind him. These men are supposedly leaders but they all look small. What have they learned? |

Maybe this is why Toews took a year off. He was captain and all the players knew and joined the mocking. It looked bad and he needed to distance himself. What are the players saying Ek? |

After that interview with Beach; Q, Chevy, anyone that was in those meetings and deny or did nothing should be gone immediately and never work another day in hockey. |

It's starting to look like the Blackhawks have taken a page from Chicago politics/corruption. Finger pointing, scandal, piss poor management and leadership, scandal, coverup, Should I go on? I bet Fleury and Jones are really enjoying themselves these days, Oh yeah! and the losing streak to. It sounds like Toews Isn't who we thought he was either, And then the punk decided to take last season off and he probably got paid. |

Honestly! I'm embarrassed that I was born and raised In a liberal dump like Illinois, I grew up a Blackhawks fan and I Idolized Bobby Hull and then I grew up and realized he was a foul mouthed, Sexist, Wife beating drunk!!! If my memory Is correct I think my home state has put 3 or 4 sitting governors In prison In my lifetime. And the beat goes on. |

Duncan Keith said he didn’t hear about it. Really? One of the leaders of that team didn’t here about it? Would have gone a long way if these guys just owned up about it and apologized. This is a bad look all around. |

Agreed. You would think one of these Neanderthal would have stepped up. But they either didn’t care or were afraid. We’ll see who among these players is prepared to look in the mirror and be accountable to themselves. |
