One season before both players were united in Toronto, Parent's Flyers took on Plante's St. Louis Blues at the Spectrum on Oct. 26, 1969. The teams played to a 0-0 tie. The 24-year-old Parent stopped all 25 shots he faced, while the 40-year-old Plante turned back all 26 shots fired on his net.

I'm glad you saw it, cause it didn't appear many in Buffalo did. A lot of empty seats there.

I love how Bill gives us the details of Patrick Brown's flight situation. Can't get much more in depth than that. Thanks Bill, appreciate the effort that you put into these write-ups

Bill's the best! Thanks.

Metro has 3 teams without a regulation loss yet. Gonna be a difficult year to sneak into playoffs.

If I am the oil, I get McDavid against Nate as much as reasonable. If they play McD and Draisaitl on separate lines they can get a good amount of time against the Nate line. The Flyers need to get healthy and Nate needs to be the 13th forward.

It will be interesting to see the match-ups with us having last change. McDavid will find himself with some favorable match ups, no doubt.

I'm thinking Tippett is beyond caring who he puts McJesus and GG out against. Nobody is gonna stop them, not Coots, not Provorov, not Hart, nobody. They're playing on a completely different plane of existence, and are often playing 20-25 mins per game.

What a deal Edmonton got Draisaitl on. Then you look to Toronto and see Mitch Marner making $10M, yikes...

For almost two years now the guy damn near averages two points a game. He’s going to get on the score sheet. Just let them be the only guys who get on.

Tippet is busy trying to figure out how to play McDavid for the entire game rather than who he is matched up against. McDavid wins every matchup against any line.

Rubstov, Bunnaman, Cates, and Ratcliffe a total combined 0 points in 4 games. Add in Frost and you get a whopping 1 assist.

Yeah, AV's gonna be the one bending over backwards to hide his more fallible players.

why I said reasonable, they have no need to adjust but on an icing or if they need a goal, they for sure could match it up

I like the test regardless. It would seem Edmonton is finally becoming what we expected for years now but it’s along season.

So a coach is going to look for matchups after an icing or if they need a goal. Thanks for the insight
