Manson has a modified NTC. He also has a cap hit that Edmonton can’t fit. So they would need to send cap back to Anaheim. That would also likely mean a higher pick to go with it.

Manson nixed a trade to Winnipeg last year, even though he and the Ducks denied it. Can't see him okaying one to Edmonton unless it's somehow on his 12 team trade list. Besides, Josh married a Socal girl, that's pretty much all she wrote when it comes to relocating. Trust me, I've been trying to get my wife to just THINK about getting out of CA when we retire and every time I bring someplace reasonably affordable up, all I get is, "That's too hot, that's too cold, that's too humid." However, I would love to hear what's coming back from Edmonton. They have no cap room so a player would have to be returning. How about RNH for Manson straight up. Hey, the money works.

You’re probably right but there should a big difference between Edmonton and Winnipeg, Yes, they are both festering poop holes , but Edmonton has McDavid and Draisaitl, which gives them a chance at winning big, or, at the very least, raising your profile and improving your stats going into free agency.

His dad Dave Manson played a few years in Edmonton in the early 90's. But Josh was born while his dad played in Chicago...so if he does get traded than Chicago should be an E4.
