No.

Unless Holland gets very creative, it’s likely going to be one or the other anyways.

I don’t even think it’s up to debate that Jesse has the higher ceiling. He’s gaining traction and one would be foolish to interrupt the momentum he’s built.

Yamo has had a poor start to the season. One could argue that this string of bad play stretches all the way back to LY. I’m not convinced that he’ll ever be a full time top 6 player. The one thing he excels in is taking penalties. Not exactly a redeeming quality.

Well then you might as well trade JP because you won't be able to afford him if you insist on pinning him to McDavid.

Keep him with McD and pump up his value before you trade him for a real D man.

Yeah that's a strategy too.

I'd rather keep Pulju down for a low $ long term deal and pump/dump Yammers instead.

I’d rather JP go. Then I wouldn’t have to see that goofy mug falling all over the ice.

Turris is brutal, and Yamamoto isn't exactly setting the world on fire on the 2nd line. He should be easy to re-sign to a reasonable contract, even while kept in the top 6. If they weren't so stupid about playing McD and Drai together with Pulju, his numbers would be better controlled too, but I think he might get an overpay regardless. He has been bringing it this year, both with his effort and his finish.

Yamamoto has been bad, really bad. Puljujarvi good.

Hopefully a reasonable deal can be reached with Puljujarvi if he continues to have success.

Yamamoto struggling is almost a good thing contractually speaking. Having 1 player struggle isn't exactly season threatening. Have Yamamoto sit games here and there if he doesn't get better and call up a cheap option like Lavoie if needs be.

Trading for Duncan Keith and signing Ceci was the dumbest thing they could've done for their cap situation.

Yamamoto hasn't been good since the first half of last season.

Takes a lot of dumb penalties and has been nearly invisible for the past year.

Neither has been good, for sure. I would give Kassian or Perlini a longer look in the top 6 before I would ever consider moving Turris up there though.

Very smart player. Look at what he did on McDavid's first goal.

Plus he's responsible defensively which is wonderful.

Keith throws a muffin and it's quickly turned over. He then doesn't tie up Roy's stick and he has an easy deflection.

Just an awful trade.

I suggest you look up the definition of triggered. I couldn’t care less. You’re the one getting all pissy. I simply called you out on how negative you are about everything. I don’t know you, so I don’t know if this is just your online personality, but whatever, your call. Are you wrong? Probably not, but it’s very tiresome hearing you think you the only one who knows anything and everyone else is a moron. I’m sorry you got your feelings hurt though. I’ll leave you alone.
