Was the worst D on the ice last game.
He shouldn't play with Tanev, but I'm not sure how else he fits.
His biggest problem right now is transition. Seems capable of defending, if you ignore the fact that Ryan got position on him. Or in pre-season where McD walked by him to the point that Tanev had to chop off his legs with his stick. LOL

Zadorov needs to get better. He hasn't been even a good D-man so far. I Hope Sutter will make him play better than he has so far.

Some of the Flames reporters have Zadorov being traded this season. It would seem he is asking way to much money for being big and bad at hockey.

I am eating crow so far with Gudbranson. He has surpassed my expectations so far.

Yeah exactly... In the games I have seen him play, when he gets the puck and there is pressure on the puck, he doesn't even look up... his head is facing down and he makes the play by getting rid of the puck... and most of time it ends up on opposition's stick. I Hope Sutter can make him a better player. Great size and mean but needs work on actual hockey decisions.

Gudbranson fits sutter type hockey. If he can do what Sutter asks him to do, he will excel in this system.

Monahan looks good tonight. Maybe this was the kick in the ass he needed.

Loved the way the Flames were scoring last night - hard spots right in front of the net, lots of traffic. On the flip side, I thought Anderson looked pretty darn bad and Kylington played a much better game.

I feel I might be jinxing a good thing but according to Hailey Salvian from the Atheletic, neither Fatrass nor Hanafin have been on for a 5 on 5 goal.

As gud as Gudbranson was last night, he had a couple of shockingly bad turnovers.

Markstrom was the best Flame. Hopefully, he has found his groove.
