Maybe he pushed to fast too soon in training.

Maybe we will luck out and pull the Tampa bay. Have him on ltir and he returns for the playoffs. Doubtful though.

I was just telling my fiancé last night… we all joked this off-season that the Flyers got all of Hayes buddies. Fast forward a month or two and he’s dealt a terrible hand. As Kevin said, everything happens for a reason. Just wild his best friend (Yandle) and his brothers roommmate/close friend (Atkinson) are on the team to be here during this tough time.

I haven't seen any indication that suggests it is going to be a season long injury.

Line combos are interesting. Brassard in Hayes spot. I would’ve guess Scott or frost there. Have two solid d guys around frost. His wheels with cam. But also like him with farabee.

Bill,

Serious question. I’m not trying to stir up anything either. The Sens seem to be in a contentious negotiation with Brady Tkackuk. If the Sens decided to trade him and ask for Farabee,I wonder what would be the response from the Flyers side. I know the Flyers love Farabee and just signed him for 6 years so it seems kind of out there. But they’re both the same age and Brady brings some needed muscle up front. Of course, a contract would have to be worked out for Brady. The Sens have cap space to help make all the money work.

Looking at the Sens roster, it looks like they may want a C but maybe they would take a replacement. Is this a non starter or not? Any thoughts on how the Flyers would view an offer including the two of them?

At least no more injuries to report. Hopefully this trend continues and the Fly Boys can stay healthy. Has any other team have this many pre-season health problems?

Not directed at MJL in particular bc there are worse characters to mention but sarcasm is often a struggle for this group of people to comprehend.

Although it’s one day, Love the top line. The middle 6 is an interesting group. If Frost can excel between those guys that line could score some goals. You’d think the Frost line would be deployed more offensively and that Brassard line can handle a tougher assignment. Fourth line is a good bottom group.

Even though His father is a human stain, I'd do Tkackuk one for one for either Farabee or TK. But the deal is not going to be one-for-one......
