Jack Eichel who?

I think the Sabres are headed in the right direction. They have a huge pipeline of talent coming into their development program. They are sitting on top of a treasure chest of draft picks when the next two years have a stunning array of talent at the top. And, moving Eichel is only going to add to the depth of their talent pool.

I know it must be discouraging for fans to have to swallow one more rebuild on top of a rebuild that clearly failed. But, contending teams start with good goaltending and strong defence and depth on your forward lines. I think Adams knows exactly what he needs to do.

Eichel was not a saviour. And, maybe it was not fair for the team to put all the expectations on his back. McDavid has not done much more when it comes to winning playoff games. But, right today, the Sabres are closer to being a Stanley Cup contender than at least 50% of all the teams in the league. Patience is difficult. But, I really like the ways Adams is going about his business.

ya know it's funny, I hadn't thought about this angle until I just read it. They talk about fan engagement and integrating the Sabres back into Buffalo culture...

and simultaneously hide their poop within those cold, dank, dilapidated walls.

Having Eichel anywhere near a mic could be disastrous for the Sabres so I think keeping media away from talking to him is a good idea. In addition why have media hounding players who are mostly young and don't need this distraction.

Further, your making way to much about Dahlin not being able to practice until Friday. The fact is he is signed and we all should be happy about that.

I think as Sabres fans we need to stop being so negative. There is a lot to look forward to with this team and I for one am excited about following this young core and their journey to a playoff berth and beyond. I think the best is yet to come (as a one Scotty Bowman once said when he was GM).

Last time Eichel spoke to the media he made a huge mess of the entire situation, maybe the Sabres didn’t want media there because they don’t want Eichel screwing up his trade value/market any more than he has, I don’t see how they are hiding anything from the fans.

I want him to say something that forces Jack Eichel to fire back and then realize he continues to tank his own value.
