I like the Horny for a LD trade proposal! And the Krack really needs to move a D-man for some forward help.
I would prefer Hayden Fluery though. |

Matt,
Agree 100%
Florida Live Arena - Yuck. I hope it's super temporary. Good opportunity for BMW or JetBlue to step up their sponsorships.
Don't see them trading away Hornqvist for the exact reasons you said--he's the only strong presence in front of the net. The team can't rely on guys to score from 20+ feet away consistently. They need a Hornqvist in front of the net to keep the defense low, block goalie vision, get the dirty goals, and generally be a physical pain the in the a.

He could fill a role much like James Neal did for the Vegas Golden Knights during their inaugural season, serving as a leader who knows what it takes to win. Like Neal, he was a Stanley Cup Champion with the Pittsburgh Penguins and he has the same type of playstyle as Neal did. - Matt Ross
I'd like to ask the writer when exactly this happened. |

Need an LHD eh? Pittsburgh has a a lot of money tied up on their left side that could be better served going towards a net-front presence.

If horny was acquired as a cap dump in exchange for another cap dump of a different position then it implies that is where his value is. Back to pens for petterson? |

Lauzon only had good numbers with McAvoy and those numbers were way worse than Grizz was with Mac |

They’ll have to earn their chances, as it should be. The older guys aren’t gonna play every night, and there will be injuries through the season. There will be places for the youngins to get in and earn more playing time. The team is only gonna be better when the players have to fight like hell just to earn a spot in the lineup.
Let’s go Panthers |
