A bit insulting to the guys playing on the AHL team, no?

Four more sleeps until the redemption parade begins!

I think Matthews is going to wreck some poop this year.

I think Ritchie will be my favorite and I will be wishing we had a few Dmen like him....tough and nasty.

I think Simmonds will surprise by competing with Ritchie for the baddest dude on the Leafs.

Kase will be awesome until he gets hurt.

Sandin will be full time and deserve it....this will help his playoff yips.

Lets go (frank)ers!


(yes, I'm trying to convince myself cuz the "Dubas getting fired and Marner getting traded at the end of the season after another early playoff exit" scenario is not fun to think about)

I would agree with almost all of it.

I have less faith in Simmonds. Ritchie probably won't be my favourite player, but I'm really hoping to like what he's bringing instead of being irritated by what he's doing!

I also don't think Marner's going to get tougher - he's just not built to fight back, but he's going to have to play through the adversity. Hopefully having Ritchie on his line will give him that freedom.

The #CBJ are drawing a hard line with COVID vaccinations: Assistant coach Sylvain Lefebvre was fired Sept. 13 for refusing to be vaccinated and now depth forward Zac Rinaldo isn't being invited to NHL training camp for the same reason.

I just read in the Athletic that Ritchie is a scratch golfer 🏌️‍♂️. He’ll be able to work on his game even more now that he’s a Leaf.

I think he's a tough guy. Like smash some Dmen, deliver some face washes and beat up some light heavyweights like Chariot kind of tough guy. But ya, he's not a big dumb face puncher goon type with his skinny legs and injury history.

Simmonds, Spezza and Bunting could be a nice little annoying to play against 4th line.

Bunting has a 34 goals per 82 game pace in his career ...im sure he keeps that up
