From last blog:

Our bottom six forward group is a black hole. There's literally no discernible offence there. Big four moneymen in the top six F group gotta do ALL the lifting.

Be$t of luck, boy$!

yeah, it'll be interesting to see how the forward group plays out;

My guess;

Ritchie-Matthews-Marner
Bunting-Tavares-Nylander
Mikheyev-Kerfoot-Kase
Engvall-Kampf-Simmonds/Spezza

Rielly-Brodie
Muzzin-Holl
Sandin-Dermott/Liljegren

Absolutely true but I feel better looking at some of the other teams depth. Same positions now in TB and FLA for the most part. Boston and Montreal might have a bit more depth b/c their top lines aren't as $$$$.

So AM and MM and JT better get the best of the Suzuki's and Bergeron's of the world.

I think they either put Kampf on the 3rd line to create a really strong shut down line or go the complete opposite direction and move Willie on to the 3rd line to try to spread out the scoring and move Kase up. I think the first option is more likely.

That left side is abysmal. I think Robertson is 100% going to be in the lineup. Ritchie is brutal offensively, and Bunting is unproven. If Mikheyev and Engvall don’t get off to a hot start I can see Dubas going out and grabbing another LW.

Also, Sandin is our second best defenceman. Brodie is solid, but isn’t a threat. Muzzin.. idk we’ll see. It’s time for Robertson and Sandin to play key roles, and I think they’re ready for it.

They can always move Nylander to LW and Mikheyev to RW to even things out

Zona has sold everything that isn't nailed down.

They have my vote.

I love how both Buffalo and Zona have no goalies making more than 750k.

That would be nice having a true shutdown line that could play against teams too line.

Matthews line gets the other teams 2nd line

Tavares line gets the other teams 3rd line

At home anyways

I’m not sure how Willy would perform on his off wing, but if history is any indication I’d prefer he stays at RW because he needs to be familiar with his role. His defensive awareness is mediocre at best, and he’d likely miss more assignments playing LW.

Also, Matthews line had way too many D zone starts last year

I think the 4th line will be the shut down line...with Robertson getting a good look.

Ritchie, Matthews, Marner
Robertson/Bunting, Tavares, Nylander
Micheyev, Kerfoot, Kase
Bunting/Simmonds, Kampf, Spezza

(popcorn in the pressbox for Engvall but luckily for him he'll be able to get it from the ground floor)

Rielly, Brodie
Muzz, Holl
Sandin, NEW ADDITION....I still think this is going to happen, has to!
