I am all for teams having protection due to covid when this means a taxi squad. My sole desire is for the health of the players. Not wanting teams to add or loose players through the waiver process

We should be glad that Rockford is in close proximity for player moving back and forth conveniently when the teams are both in their home venues.

One point I want to see managed properly with a taxi squad, is very liberal movement of players. I want players to develop in the AHL and I want to definitely limit the perennial B Pirri type. He is not even really a strong possibility to play for us. As an emergency type situation because he has pro experience instead of one of our kids. No thanks.

We have plenty of kids whom have an NHL future and could handle an NHL call up. They may require more seasoning, but they aren't a stretch to force feed.

I really believe taxi squad or some plan based on a derivative, will be with us forever because to some extent covid will never go away. Let's not debate whether covid will be around forever; instead, let us discuss if there is a better alternative to the continuation of taxi squad as we witnessed last season.

Now if you want names whom I would not be surprised could be NHL material and may get a look see whether from taxi squad or turning pro

The mask mandate returned to BC as well, they're required in all indoor public spaces. BC is working on a vaccine passport program, I don't know all the details yet but proof of vaccine (vaccine passport) will be required for some non-essential services such as restaurants and gyms.

That has less chance of happening in the US than pigs flying. Furthermore, Florida where the NHL has two teams, Texas and Missouri another two teams will have no crowd rules whatsoever you can take that to the bank!

Anyone coming in has to prove they have been fully vaccinated. The people you saw I would guess are. And the only alarming Yankees I know and would be afraid of are Mo, D, bread and a few others who shall remain nameless.
