Lebrun says that Bernier is going to NJ, Halak to Vancouver. Suggests that Reimer might end up with SJ or Vegas.
Hmm, If he's correct that leaves Holtby

Looks like its going to be a quiet day for the Flyers. Most likely Holtby will be the backup; I really hope they stay away from Jones. I am fine with Holtby, he is still young enough that I think he can turn it around, and his experience will matter, especially to Hart. I'm not hearing anything about who the Flyers may be targeting at forward right now, other than Nick Bonino. I really would like Fletcher to find a decent forward that can add grit and size to the forward group. |

Forgot about him. I wonder if Holtby is cooked or can still contribute. He'd prob be a good mentor for Hart and with the buyout would prob come cheap. |

I’m okay if it’s Holtby. Never seemed like a great fit in VAN, and I think he’ll benefit (and maybe thrive) with a return to the east.
Agree with the comment that they still need a center, preferably one that plays with a snarl. |

Dallas is my other favorite team. Have watched a ton of Taylor Fedun. Dude is pretty much all you can hope for in a 7th-8th dman. He'd be a great addition to the Phantoms. |

Flyers are perennially one of if not the best faceoff teams in the league...Glendenning would certainly solidify them in the top if he’s signed. |

I’ll be bummed if they end with one of the remaining two in Holtby or Jones. Both looked fairly cooked. I’d rather have one of the three you mentioned going elsewhere. Having the right guy paired with a young net minder (Hart) will be critical for his continued development. If he falters, this could get ugly, fast, and all the moves made this off season, will be for naught.
Don’t screw this up. Too important! |

I would be fine with Holtby and Eric Staal today. Holtby is friendly with Hart and could be a valuable mentor. He would have to bounce back from a subpar year. This could be a good opportunity for him. Staal would provide center depth and would allow Frost more time to continue his development, especially coming off of surgery.
Nick Bonnio is also intriguing. Center depth allows Laughton and G to stay at wing. |

The comment that won the internet yesterday was that if Holtby comes here Hart will have to remove Emery from his mask as it might trigger Holtby's PTSD haha |

I could still see a trade from the FLyers. I know he was protected in the expansion draft but I could see Aube-kubel moved if the Flyers had someone else in mind that could kill penalties and play with an edge on the 4th line. |

That’s a sneaky nice move by the leafs. Who I hate btw.

The GM said he needed to improve the defense then signs Yandel is a little odd. He is worse than Ghost defensively. If he makes up for it offensively then it will be a trade off you can live with.
I still see them signing a vet to be the #7. Morin, Zamula, and York all better suited to play in the AHL if not in the top 6 on the Flyers.

Winning face-offs usually means puck possession, possessing the puck more than the opponent should result in less goals against, but for some odd reason it does not work out that way for the Flyers |
