Teams are not willing to pay the premium asking price until they know he is healthy...and even then some say the price is just prohibitive.. The issuet the Sabres face now is it gets harder to get more once teams start moving on...

"SABRES?? Hey It's Doug Arm....Hello?? Hello??"

If Eichel wasn’t happy before, he’s going to be a mess with the new stripped down version of the team! His numbers will fall and he’ll be worth nothing.

Agreed. But Adams hit a home run in the Risto Risto deal so he showed that he won't be taken advantage of. I hope he can get some good value back for Eichel. I'm not a Sabres fan but I'd like to see them do well. The fans deserve better.

It was 2nd overall, plus next year's 1st which would have top lotto odds. But might have just been an E3 or something. Could still happen. Always keep your eye on Ronnee Frances.

As long as the Sabres have there current owners it won't matter how many 1st round picks they get, the franchise is doomed! They had a stable chalked full of talent and they wasted it. The organization was and will continue to be mismanaged and top and players will have there early years wasted until they are traded and the process can repeat. I would say this is the Oilers 2.0, but at least the Oilers have been to the playoffs... The Sabres are in a class all there own.

To me it seems like this is being directed by the ownership The husband and the wife. Any trade that happens must be approved by them in regards to Jack Eichel.
