I really like Lysell, great pick. Bruins are jerks for being good. My team sucks. |

Now we need to re-sign Kreicji to solidify our 2nd line.
A small winger - hope Lysell has lots of skill. How was he available considering he was ranked anywhere from 6th to 13th? |

5-10 170 lbs... smh - 77emac77
How tall is Brayden Point or Brad Marchand?
Don’t care how small, as long as he scores. |

Remember when we took Frederic over debrincat and everyone freaked out?
Sweeney drafts the big guy and everyone screams, take the best available!
Take the best available and everyone screams, take the big guy! Wish people would stop making up reasons to blast management |

Yes teams (including Bruins) have smaller skilled players.
But a team also needs bigger forwards that can get through the larger D-men to the danger areas. Can't have a team full of smaller skilled forwards and compete in todays NHL.
Maybe it works out for the Bruins and skill wins over size in this case.

Bigger forwards like Backes and Beleskey did wonders..
If Barzal was with the Bruins, would he have been enough to get them the Stanley Cup over the Blues? |

Oh FFS - pick the failures for examples. Plenty of small failures too - the list is endless.
Mitch Marner is plenty skilled. How's he done in the playoffs last couple years? |

Yes, small players are busts too.
The way the NHL is trending, you need speed and I’m glad the Bruins drafted speed for fwd position. If you want big dudes, get them for defense.
As for Marner, you can’t use Tor as an example...that team has a major loser mentality |

Don't get me wrong - I'm hoping Lysell works out and becomes a productive player for the Bruins.
But we do need size on both the back-end and at forward.
What I am most concerned about is goaltending. With Rask not signed, and out for considerable time in any event, who is our starter and who is the back-up? |

I like Frederic. I'll be more than happy if this kid works out, but I have no faith in sweeneys drafting. |

Instead of paying a veteran goalie for half a season, I would spend and solidify our D by getting Suter. Swayman and Vladar can hold the fort until Rask gets back. |

Bruins better have damn good D if they are hoping to be in playoff contention by the time Rask comes if they go with two goalies that have a TOTAL of 15 NHL games.

Yeah, Bruins don't need any physical players that can score some goals.
