Friedman last night said talks had resumed with Dach and DeBrincat no longer part of the discussion. Lots of Twitter hints that a deal is coming (Buccimane teasing, CBJ writers Portzline, Schieg)

He is definitely overrated. I'd say at best he is a lower end 1C. Probably best as a 3D on a contender. Does some things really well for sure. Very good mobility, handles the puck well, strong puck battling. But weak defending against the rush and not especially productive when set up in the O zone.
