Retain salary on Voracek's contract to make the Quick/Voracek swap cap neutral and LA might consider it. Otherwise it doesn't really make sense for the Kings.

Quick is one of the remaining 4 from their cup years. $5.8M is pretty reasonable. He is a great mentor for Peterson. Quick isn't going to be traded just to be traded. Someone would have to make a can't refuse it deal to pry him away.

Agreed and he has 2 yrs remaining on his current contract and could very easily retire after that at 37-38 yrs old,Peterson already playing more than quick.

Yep. He used to be effective then his reputation caught up with him. The refs hate him and no matter what the call is going against him. He also just isn't that great of a hockey player. Had hopes for him but it didn't work out.
