Ben Shelley: Sharks re-sign Josef Korenar

What does this mean for A. Melnichuk? Personally I like Melnichuk better than Josef but if Jones gets bought out or taken by Seattle, highly unlikely who starts next year? Please stay clear of B. Holtby who is worse than Jones.

Melnichuk needs a full year in the AHL at least....Goalies need to marinate longer to become effective...Korenar will be okay....He has the poise, calm, and confidence to be a decent NHL backup

Here's an Interesting fact, As soon as Seattle fills out there roster In the coming days they will already be better than Doug Wilson's Sharks.

If I had the same terms in starting a team that Vegas and Seattle had then I'd have a much better team too

I agree with that to some extent. He found instant success in the KHL originally and a year or two in the AHL would probably lead to the nhl. I really like his size and he moves really well side to side. Little shaky on the glove but still a great prospect.
