I like Rico and obviously with that cap hit, he'd be hard to move unless salary .. and good bit of it was retained.

How about we just keep him and find 2 or 3 other guys that suck even more than him to jettison.. which shouldn't be so hard with this current roster.

I've got a way for you to get rid of Henrique 😉

Just attach 3OA and Zegras to him.

Maybe keeping and playing him in his proper spot would be better. He's a middle six guy who is best suited for a third line. Quit expecting him to play on the top line. Getting him some decent talent to play with on the second or third line would also help, but the Ducks are in a rebuild, so that ain't happening is it?

He's expensive for a middle six guy. At his age with a flat cap he's more of a liability than asset.

The Ducks hold $2M from Henrique salary, also send Manson and Rakell to the Blues for Tarasenko and a pick.

He's also expensive to trade. What's your point?

It was a bad contract given where the team was obviously heading. That's on Bob Murray. But expecting Rico to face the opposition's best every night and them casting him as an underachiever is just gaslighting on management's part.
