I bet Maroon will eat a double cheese burger deluxe with turkey gravy on the side and a Diet Coke for breakfast today. |

Anybody see the stick Perry took to the face in OT last night? Took a two hander to the face that dropped him like a board and bloodied his face. No idea how BOTH refs miss that. Unreal. |

Don’t know what that was. Regular season refs call far too much and generally catch almost every infraction, but mostly pretty fair. Playoff refs more liberal w their calls but generally also fair. 2021 playoff refs miss blatant calls and are not consistent with calls, at times helping determine the games outcome. It’s become a sh!tshow. |

The officiating in the NHL is consistently terrible through the season. Just like the players the refs turn it up a notch in the playoffs so they’re even more terrible. They’re in terrible playoff form. 2021 isn’t any different then any other playoffs they’re always bad imo. |

You know those big 2kg family packs of ground meat they sell to make burgers for cookouts? He makes one giant patty out of that with 2kg of cheese and 2kg of bacon on it. Washes it down with a quart of malt liquor. |

There has been a lot of talk of inserting Wally into the lineup. I know he brings offense and you need offense to win. However, the goal diff 7-5 in favor of Tampa. It easily be the other way around. I think the 4 lines are balanced with grit, playing and scoring ability. And when I say balanced, I mean for what the Isles have to go to right now. I do not think inserting Wally now is the answer. As much as I want him in. I could be wrong.
I think the teams weakest link is Green. And I am a fan of green love what he brought last year but i do not see that this year from him.

Wally is a must add tonight especially with the Nelson line struggling. Cannot have the 1st and 2nd lines struggling to produce. Time to sit Leo and put Palms on the 1st line. Any offense the Isles can add will only help. If you put Palms on the 1st line and Wally on the 3rd and you lose, at least you lost with the best possible lineup. No way I make no changes for tonight. You do not have to make whole sale changes but go down at least swinging.
Green has been a very good Islander but I would replace him next year with Bolduc if he can make the jump. Helps the Isles age and Cap number. |

Barry said he will remember the loss to Tampa last year on his deathbed . How is he going to feel if they lose again and he did not try to make any changes? As a coach who do what you can to make changes when things are not working and you live with the results. Nobody is going to get on Barry if he puts Palms and the 1st line and plays Wally on the 3rd. It's the smart move at this point and gives Tampa another look. Does not matter the goal differential is close. The only number that matters is 2-1 Tampa right now. |

Then where would Leo play?
Leo not anchoring Barzal's line?

Oh boy you don’t know what you just did to yourself here with the 4 balanced lines comment. Which I 100% agree with, I guess the staff does too. Head for the hills NFD! |

Must win game tonight. Let’s hope he makes the right decisions. As someone noted earlier Trotz said he’d bring last year’s series loss to Boltz to his grave. Not sure what Trotz meant by that but hopefully he doesn’t have the same regrets this year. I know what I’d do. But I’m sitting on my back patio, drinking bourbon, smoking a cigar and blasting music so... |

Tampa is hoping nothing changes.
This entire thing is dumb. The idea of pushing back against Palms on the 1st line with his size and skill. He will only make Barzal and Eberle better and take pressure off the other lines. Wally also brings size and skill. - ses111
He could swap Wally with Leo and not upset the other lines if he really wants the consistency. It's getting odd at this point. Pretty much everyone is questioning why Leo is on Barzal's wing.

Odd is putting it kind. Barry can swap out Leo for Wally if he does not want to touch the other lines. There are things Barry can do to not rip up the lines. I just love the idea of removing Leo is a panic move by some. Unless the Nelson line picks it up soon, I would not even worry about changing them up as needed. It's all hands and deck and you forget what was done before this series. |
