Go out and get a difference maker...Leafs can always spend a bit more to get a team to retain salary as well.

Kessel had 1.2M retained from his salary.

Doesn't have to be so black and white...They can get creative as the Pens did adding Kessel to an expensive core.

Refs gave Tampa a PP with 1 minute left in the game to show how good a job they were doing. The cross-check in the face was a good defensive play by the Islanders all game until the final minute.
