I’m not sure why a lot of people think differently. A good team usually means goaltenders are confident and play well behind them. A bad team will usually promote bad goaltending. Johansson is a good example.

I don't think differently other than Ullmark standing on his head a few times. Team in front of are goaltenders was bad, and hung them out to dry a lot. But they also didn't come up with the big stop when needed. It goes both ways a good goalie can cover for some team weaknesses and a good team can do the same for a goalie.

This seems like the only draft in recent memory where almost all of the 1st round picks will return to college or juniors and with the pandemic effecting development, I think every single team should encourage their picks to keep developing for another year.
