Is Bergeron a star? Toews? Hes that good defensivly. Gets more take aways than anyone the last many years. Absolutely clutch this 4 game run om the Avs.

I'm a bit wishy-washy but I'm coming around to seeing him as a star. He's definitely a great captain. I know the club and Vegas fans love him.

Wonder if MacKinnon will have a tantrum in the locker room.

I wonder if Kadri gets traded again. Second time he's been suspended in the playoffs and then his team loses.

I would trade for him in a minute. Always liked his game and I have no issues with the dirty stuff.

Where does the time go, Nazzy is 31 years old next season, last year at 4.5 million then a UFA.

I think Montreal is gonna be in tough against Vegas. Most likely Tampa vs Vegas final with the Bolts repeating as champions....cheaters.

I'm nostalgic for when the canucks were considered "dirty" yet they had their most successful seasons in franchise history playing that way. Give me more Raffi!!

I think the defence firat players rarely get the label, but as we all know... defence wins championships. That last 5 minutes i thought he was the standout. 3-4 takeways and absolutely caused havoc for anyone near him with the puck. He plays like that every game and produces. Stone is definetly underrated imo. Ive got him in the same category as Orielly and Bergeron.

You need guys who play on the edge, the crazy type, if you want playoff success. Keeps the other teams heads on a swivel. Probably not as important in today’s game, but certainly was back in “the day”.

Ya, two years in a row against boston if i remembver right. Not sure if he can handle the playoff pressure, at this point hes a bit of a liability. I like the fiestiness but man the Avs missed him here

Look at the final four teams, they can all trap it up with the best of them. Tampa played great defensively against Carolina, they can also flip the switch and play pond hockey. The Islanders and Vegas are full-on trap teams.

Defense wins championships.

I was just on the leafs thread and they are like "Kadri's fault the Avs lost" and "Kadri strikes again". I laughed at them and said one of the many reasons why the leafs are watching instead of playing is that they are soft as baby poo and scare nobody. They could use a bit of Kadri in their game.

This I would agree with. When Torres and Lapierre were running around scaring the sh!t out of opponents it was a huge advantage. When AV shut them down not so much lol

So Stone, the best defensive forward in the playoffs(which is more important than offence) is not a superstar?
