Because he is absolute trash without Ian Clark

Pretty sure his career sv% away from Clark is like .900

I usually don't brag about going to expensive places, but I just left a gas station.

Adds 2 RHD & 1FW

Laine Petey BB
Pearson Bo Hogs
Motte JTM/UFA Podz
Gadj Graovac ZacMac/Highmore

QH Hamilton
Edler Seth Jones
Rathbone Myers

Codes, cap works see yesterdays numbers post. Beagle and Rousse actually are on LTIR and LE waived. CBJ trade gets Schmidt OJ, Lind, etc. few 1sts and 3rds. Seth has MNTC and likes Shaw. Laine is RFA and wants to leave. Just an opportunity of possibility not probability. JTM might need to be included and if so his cap enough to get 3LC.

He is, not being a fan of undersized players, I do have to admit he'd be a huge upgrade. Then there's the dollars.
- VanHockeyGuy

There is a lot of undersized players in the league.

Mitch Marner
Sebastian Aho
Artermi Panarin
Nik Ehlers
Matt Barzal
Oliver Bjorkstrand
Joel Farabee
Jake Guentzal
Trevor Zegras
Victor Olfsson
Mike Hoffman
Claude Giroux
David Krejci

Good undersized talent. I'd say every player on this list is an upgrade over someone on the Canucks

Why is no one talking about signing Nugent Hopkins for 3rd line center? He’s free, I believe he’s from Burnaby.
What would it cost?

- K-man25

Super soft. Better fit for the Flames.

Maybe we draft a C in round 1 and he contributes the first year like Hog?
- VanHockeyGuy

Huh? Hogz came over a year and a half after being drafted.

I enjoy the delusional flames fans that pop by. They are always here to remind canuck fans it could be much, much worse

I'm not denying their talent, I just don't trust undersized people.

What does Schmidt have to with Markstrom? I’d argue that he has a worse contract than Bob. 5 first round picks for Ian Clark. Actually no, I’d prefer to watch the Flames bottom out w Marky
- CanuckDon

I see you started drinking early again! Your hatred is in full bloom. Try visiting Marwoods wood shed, you’ll feel good and be less aggressive.

I would be surprised to se them take a run at him. Treliving doesn’t like tough guys.

I left off Petey

I only did undersized 5'11"-6' players.
The average modern NHL player is 6-foot-1 and 199.3 pounds.

Let's do the rest that aren't the correct size.

Nico Hischier
Elias Pettersson
Dominik Kubalik
Carter Verhaeghe
Kyle Connor
Reilly Smith
Jared McCann
Tim Stützle
Martin Necas
Sam Reinhart
Ryan Strome
Steven Stamkos
Connor McDavid
Andrei Svechnikov
Evgeni Malkin
Elias Lindholm

All of these players weigh 195 or less and are 6'1" and UP

It’s cute to see them try to defend their team built around a midget winger

Well you were talking about drafting a C this year and then how Hogz has stepped right in.

You can see how I came to that conclusion.

You’re getting good at this.
You need to let everyone know the midget was picked in the 6th round and was just named mvp of the world championships.

I like Mangiapane , his regular season record against NHL players speaks for itself but , I laugh when I see comments about Stecher or Mangi about being standouts at the Worlds . Good for them that they were the stars , not good for the tournament quality.

When top players that season has ended like McDavid Matthews Marner and so on say no thanks then the usual quality it has in past years has dropped.

So, in their fourth year, the Golden Knights have already tied the Canucks, who’ve been around for half a century, in 3rd round appearances with three? Cool. Happy Friday to you too...

I saw this chart the other day that had playoff appearances since 04-05 and Canucks were 14th or something.
