Having home ice throughout the playoffs is relevant, making the presidents trophy relevant

Yeah, screw stuff like home ice advantage and last line change/matchups and all that lame stuff. I mean when has having a game 7 at home ever benefited anyone?

Home Ice Is barely relevant, There Is NO science or history that says home Ice gives a team any significant advantage that Is an old and tired myth.

Does winning percentage count or is that not "science" enough for you? I mean I guess that would satisfy the historical criteria for my argument though. Did you know that 13 of the last 17 Stanley Cup champions had home ice advantage? I remember a lot of people were really happy about where game seven in 2001 was played as well. Maybe there are some advanced stats that show that it's just all a big fluke though, and teams with home ice advantage shouldn't be winning?

Some of you should climb out of your vodka bottle and look up the definition of significant.

What? Lol liberals are the ones that do believe in science and follow scientific ways.

Either way far left or far right. Both are equally bat poop crazy!

Last change is probably the most important part of home ice advantage! Being able to play our top line against 3rd 4th liners is definitely a pretty big advantage

Considering the Avs' home ice record, it's definitely relevant. Josty said it himself, being home in front of the fans is even more better.

By winning more games than the other 30 teams. Specifically, accumulating more points through the 56 game schedule, then going through any tie breaking procedures if two or more teams are tied. This is not a difficult concept.
