NFL should go with a 19 week regular season so teams get two bye weeks. That’s got to change soon. Have byes between weeks 4 and 15 average 6 teams on bye Thursday night teams play coming off bye. Everybody win$. Start byes week 3 if you have to and TNF starts week 4 in addition to season opener.

I can't believe the Bill's are playing 3 of the last 4 at home. 2 in January. I will not be attending those late games unless it's to clinch the #1 seed and home field thru out.

Regular season goes to Jan 9th. That’s going to be cold! I like the schedule. Really like the late Thanksgiving game and love that they have a lot extra time for the Pats MNF game. F them! McD undefeated coming out of the bye week and get to take care of the Dolphins. Reid was known for winning out of the bye, glad to see it rubbed off on McD. Bills got a lot to live up to this year. I think the division is going to be the toughest in the NFL. Iron sharpens iron.

Edit: I don’t see 18 games happening without expansion. 17 games is perfect. 18 games means you play another out of conference team. At that point u play too many games and not enough variation year to year.

So let them:
-keep the 2nd
-keep Kempe so they don’t lose any skaters off their roster
-add a Cap dump like Quick since he’s the only high price guy (5.8mil for 2yrs) without an NTC,
and Petersen has taken over as the starter anyways

That would leave:
-LA gets Eichel & gets rid of a Cap dump
-Sabres get Byfield, Turcotte, two 1sts & the cap dump in Quick

I think that’s in the ballpark of reasonability

I think Harrington took Adams' comments like I did.

I like Adams. I think he's very intelligent (so much more so than Botterill), well spoken and about as transparent as a GM can be. He may lack experience, but hopefully Karmanos will help offset some of that. I know some on here don't trust ANYONE the Sabres employ, and they criticize, dissect and ridicule ANYTHING Adams says, but I believe him about Eichel.

And he said a mouthful when he said, "we want players that want to be here", and I couldn't agree more.

After Adams opened by addressing the Eichel situation, he looked noticeably uncomfortable answering follow up questions regarding Jack, Sam and Risto.

He can wait to trade Sam and Risto during the season, but I think Jack needs to be moved this summer.

Would absolutely love to hear what other teams are offering for Eichel.
