I believe they're looking for young roster guys (Bjork) and high end prospects, at the very least. If it's not a top 5 first, don't bother. Get guys like Turcotte, Valiardi, Valimaki, Zegras, Drysdale, Kakko and Chytil. If not, (frank) off.

IMO you need whatever teams best prospect. Period. If they aren’t willing, too bad so sad.

They need, whether it’s a high end prospect or young roster player, someone who’s potentially a high end scorer.

The secondary pieces can be guys like Turcotte and a 1st.

One thing Granato said that made me fuzzy was how he basically said how they hate pressers and were mad about the season (they should be) and that they're completely different people when they're in the room and on the ice. I want to believe that they're dealing with the raw emotions of a bad season and that over the course of the summer, guys like Sam and Jack won't actually ask to be traded. Jack's sticking point is clearly his surgery because he wants to get on the ice as soon as possible. And be healthy for the rest of his life. I imagine he's frustrated with the waiting process that he agreed to.
