He is a good hockey player, when he plays within the lines. He does not play within the lines often enough, making him a piece of poop human being in my eyes. JMO though. |

First thing I thought of was Todd Bertuzzi. Someone’s career ended from a similar sucker punch/takedown.
But hey, no injuries means minimal punishment. Nhl logic |

The last 20 games that Pens top line has 15 goals for, 15 against, 137 scoring chances for to 134 against, barely over 50%, and 45% hdcf. I think Danny is bringing up a good point. That line has been pretty average for over a month now. I think they are worn down and could use a change up. |

I guess that's what's so glaring about him. There are players in the NHL who are good at hockey and play with an edge. They push things as are far as they can without being dangerous and those type of players are very effective. Wilson is good at hockey. Wilson can play with an edge that makes him even more effective. Wilson can also elect to not cross the line while at the same time not losing is edge. He chooses to cross the line which was made clear by his flexing in the box. He has no regard for anyone. |

If there's anytime to try and spark something by swapping Jake with Zucker, now is the time. I personally don't think it will work, but why not? Clearly they're just exhausted and maybe playing just to not get injured. Sid has only missed one game this year, so his number has to come up soon. |

Wilson is gonna tombstone piledrive someone onto the ice and paralyze them but will only get 5,000 fine because he kept his gloves on. |

Why is anyone really surprised? Our country is letting criminals run wild and free. They do not prosecute thugs. On the contrary they release them back into society and try to defund the police. Criminals are the new victims and when you push back you are the problem. Make martyrs our of felons and place the blame on the victims. I never thought I would see it but here we are. 2021 in America and it is very sad.
All of us need to take a long look at where we are as a society before it is too late.
So NO I am not surprised that Wilson only got fined. They will probably make a new award in his name. Maybe call it the SVP STUPID VALUABLE PLAYER |

I don’t hate it. I think these last three game are the time to kind of throw poop against the wall and see what sticks. |

Yeah.. When ideally you kind of want it all to be figured out, set and gelling nicely when headed into playoffs... |

I'm very much in agreement and I think giving Jake to Geno for a bit may result in more offense for Geno and more confidence. Once Geno has his swagger he's a completely different player. It's not good to have him come back and get frustrated with himself or his line mates. If Sid's line needs anything, it's more fore and back checking. Zuck works hard at both. |

interesting. I'd like to keep some lines familiar though. Kap and Geno for sure.
That 4th line is interesting. I wish Zoho was a bit meaner. I think he'd get more playing time if he used that frame some more.
Any word on Tanev?

With the revolving door of injuries the Pens have had it's been so hard to get any sense of "regular" on what works. Finally having almost everyone back with three games left it at least gives the Pens the chance to try a few different looks and see if something jumps out. |
