Anthony Travalgia: Rest is on the way for Tuukka Rask as Bruins clinch playoff spot With the Bruins clinching a playoff berth Monday, rest is on the way for Tuukka Rask despite a red-hot run of late.

Rask is key for the Bruins to go all the way.
Not saying that Halak is not good enough, but he does have a tendency to let a soft one go in every once in awhile (see last year’s playoffs)
For the past few years, important dmen got injured on the last week of the season. Krug, Carlo and Miller. Please, stop the cycle...

it would be cool to win the last 5 games and finish in first and hopefully play ny in first round

I'd rather rest players (especially D-men) than risk them going for 1st.
Does home-ice really mean that much this year?

home ice not a biggy but who you play matters most i think. opening with the caps isnt ideal

Our record this year against the Caps is better than against NYI ... no?

So Bruins won series against Pit & Was.

I'm not leaning toward any of the teams - just want Bruins to be healthy as they can going into playoffs.

Shots on net 36-19 and it's 3-3.

Holy frank... Blackwood standing on his head and Halak rusty. Not a good combo.

This is true but if they play the Caps in the first round. I think both teams will leave that series beat to poop. i would try to avoid the caps if possible.

Well yeah, there is the idiot-stick Wilson factor.

But if the NYR nut-up maybe Wilson won't be available for the playoffs.

Rags have NOBODY in the organization to do anything to Wilson, even in the A, who knows maybe someone in ECHL or a quick signing in that Quebec Major League. Nothing will happen tonight. As far as who they play I think the Pens may be the strongest Team, As long as u have home Ice over the Islanders they should be good.

Keep Miller & Carlo healthy and hope Chucky can go back to playing as the #1 defenseman he has been most of the year

Rask with Sway as your backup The only question will be the 3rd line. Not bad

You don't have to be all that big to Tonya-harding the D-bag. Just need to be willing to take one for the team.

Blues are not going anywhere this postseason so it’s up to you Bruins. Get Bergy another cup. Marchand as well. Men know when to get jobs done. No one else in your division are men. Take it to em boys

Coyle is out tonight (Upper body)
Playing the Rangers who might be tired from last night’s circus act. Gotta take advantage.

Was a weird night. Never seen all 6 forwards drop the mitts simultaneously like they did last night.

I have been crapping on DeBrusk for awhile now, but I have to give him props for playing a solid game yesterday. Hope he can keep it rolling.
