Tom Wilson is a POS... I said it. He is either going to end up Todd Bertuzzing someone out of the league or another player is going to get his revenge and Todd Bertuzzi him out of the league. The whole sequence cannot be defended that idiot lost his cool and went nuts because he got his panties in a wad about the prior penalty. Every bit of that looks bad for the league, will be interesting if anything is done but I doubt it. Its one thing to play with an edge but that whole sequence was straight goonerie.

Unbiased fan of an out of division team here. This is 100% going to be a suspension. Those are some serious homer glasses you have on there. At least be aware of your biases.

It’s the same as the hit on Carlo. The hit was bad but what made it worse was that he was getting into it with Frederic, couldn’t get the better of him, so he sprinted down ice and immediately boarded Carlo. Dude can’t take a lick, his ego can’t handle it. He’s such a punk

I think his coach and teammates are probably worried about having him on the ice during the playoffs. He will hurt the team doing that poop. Dude has issues.

How could you possibly feel these are not suspendible acts? Tom Wilson is a blight on the NHL. I cannot understand how Caps fans want this guy on their team.

The league needs to ban this guy from playing. Period. It’s a miracle he hasn’t ended anyone’s playing career yet. If the league doesn’t do anything about it he 100% will the only question is when.

Wilson is a clown. Dude should be gone for the rest of the season and first round of the playoffs for that side show.

Wilson is trash and so are the people who defend him.

Don't bother replying. I won't be checking replies. I don't converse with trash.

If another player pulled the poop he pulls on their star players they would be losing it. There is no room in the game for a guy like that.

As a Capitals fan, I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of discipline Wilson showed tonight.

This is something a DC politician would say if a member of their own party did something indefensible. Incredibly spineless, Brian.

It really is a miracle that he hasnt ended someones careeer yet but its coming. there is no reason for him to change his game and he keeps getting sent to bed right after dinner as a deterrent. Quinn normally doesnt say things like this so for him to chime in says something.

Although i am sure it will be something like "wilson has been fined the maximum amount under the CBA, $5k" the reality is that he is not getting the message. Maybe if he sits out the rest of the year (incl playoffs) he can change his game. the guy is talented but he is def not worthy of that A on his chest he has been wearing. then again, maybe he is under laviolette since he didnt see anything wrong with it.

Realistically what last night proved is that Tom Wilson cannot control himself on the ice in the heat of the moment and resorts to actions that put other players careers in jeopardy. It has gotten to a point where it is damn near unsafe to have him on the ice with other players. I love physical hockey, but when you see a guy lose his mind like this and then be proud of it... you have to be concerned for the safety of the other players because he clearly doesn't see any issues with his actions.

You can be slightly biased when you write a blog for a team, but as a hockey fan you should be looking at what he has done in the past as well and come to the common sense conclusion that this guy is a loose cannon that needs to be dealt with.does last nights incident warrant a 20 game suspension???no,but add all the previous b.s. and yes this clown needs to be given more than a slap on the wrist.
Wake up mr.parros and do your job please, take out the trash!!

I came here without much expectations about you thinking Wilson should be held accountable. If you dont think a suspension is warranted for body slamming a guy head first to the ice with no helmet on... I really dont know what to tell you. If you watch the slow motion angle of the moment, you will see how potentially devasting it could have been for Panarin. It could have resulted in a significant neck injury.

Wilson clearly has some mental issues that need resolved before he should be allowed back in this league. I havent seen a player who just seems to lose his mind and attempts to injure players.

As unfortunate as your opinion is on this, I worry that the NHL will share that view.

Tom Burfict musta been off his meds again.

I feel sorry for the player who will ultimately be the one seriously injured (even more than some already) or worse when Wilson eventually does what will finally get him kicked out of the league. Will it be a McSorely incident? A Bertuzzi? Worse?

And to think, it all could have been avoided if they'd just taken better measures before it happened. I hope whoever that player is (if he's still alive) sues the NHL for knowing, but allowing this sub-human to continue to be an intentional threat to it's players health.

NHL Department of Player Safety? Really now. Just stop. This sad attempt at humor isn't getting laughs anymore.

Not suspendible?? 😂😂😂 Thats just hacky homer journalism.

It’s a good thing your job has been keeping you from blogging…you just showed you can’t write an unbiased article to save your life.

Good God…They forced Raffi Torres out of the league for less…

His action scream he intends to hurt other players. Right there should get him booted from the league. The NHL doesn't discipline actions, only results. They are essentially penalizing his victims for not being as injured as they could have been. If he kills someone someday knowing full well what he is capable of, the players and everyone who buys a ticket should be able to sue the NHL for knowingly continuing to give a dangerous psychopath a job.

What gets me is the NHLPA also thinks Tom Wilson is not a problem, and are ok with his actions, or they could kick him out of the union with "just cause", basically making him unemployable in the NHL.

I would argue McSorley's one terrible action is no where near as bothersome as the entire catalog of Wilson's terroristic acts.

What happens next time Wilson does this and a smaller player, who can't match up physically to him decides to simply slash him w/ their stick across his face/head!?

That will be a real good look for the NHL
