Miller is a rookie D'man who can be Risto for 9/10 of the cost.

Just like MItts.

first year player in a league with no training camp and no time to get ready.

But sure,, hes a bust.

- ImThatGuy

Didnt call him a bust. He just won't be the superstar everyone thought him to be.

So ya he's a bust.

Throw Georg in there or frank off Dolan

I think getting rid of a 6 Million $ guy for 2 more years, is gonna cost more than the right to james vesey and/or requiring him for a 3rd?

🤔

no matter how low the bar is, it can be raised
- homiedclown

or in the sabres case, it can be lowered, as witnessed over the last decade

Kreider would be the only logical guy, but e has a full NMC.

SO I think Strome would be involved.

WIth that Said

Strome
Buch
Laf.

Though I think NYR says hell no.

The return for Eichel is going to underwhelm if he is moved, IMO.

These two are incorrect

It’s because his line mate Joel Eriksson-EK and Jordan Greenway have both taken the next step and become very good young players and Foligno, who’s good, has benefited on the score sheet.

It’s not because Marcus freaking Foligno found his offensive touch at 29 years old

But yes, evaluating him as a 50 point player seems like the way to go.

You should be a player agent

why do people put so much value on points?

Rangers fired their staff because the rebuild was taking too long.

Eichel to NY rumors to heat up.

Why bother scoring goals?

That only leads to you accumulating points, and those dont matter, or at least that matter so little in a sport.

IN fact lets move this to the NFL, Who cares how many TD's your QB throws for.
Whats his IAY?

How about the next (3) 2nd round picks.

Okposo really needs to go more than anyone else, not named skimmer.

There’s nothing I can say to change your mind so I’ll just leave it at this

Points is the reason the Sabres signed Ville Leino to the worst contract in team history

And in case you want to pretend that’s Skinner, Skinner scored more goals in his first 25 games than Leino did in his 137 games as a Sabre

I have a feeling it's gonna be super hard to get tickets to the Blue Jays. Hopefully they're here all summer and the capacity goes up

I was thinking the same. I would be wiling to pay a ton to see the Yankees here - I could not tell by what I've read if I could scalp the tix. It looks like the tix are somehow tied to the person that purchased the tickets.

too much, imo...one single pick (or a player of similar value) for a player that will cost $6m in salary over the next two seasons after his $2m bonus is paid this year...there has to be a team out there willing to do it, even if he has a 15-team mntc...good gm's get the job done

The idea it’s impossible is just odd to me given his remaining salary.

He needs to go. It can and should happen now

it wasn't even really points, it's what he did against them in the playoffs (game-winner in game 6,) and their google-eyes at what they saw as the potential for him to play center

Wouldn't surprise me.

One of my favorite things about summer is going to a Bisons game. My office used to be right near the ballpark so I'd occasionally play hooky and go see a game.

And 2-for-1 beers on Tuesdays in my 20s was fun as poop.

I struggle to watch baseball on TV but I love the atmosphere of a ballpark

have been of the opinion that nothing would happen with him until there was two years left on his deal...he's not leino-worthless as he's managed to average 30 pts/82 games over the last three seasons...

get 'er done

Did the Oilers sign McDavid for points?

Or does the just apply to leno

It was the points

He had a 53 point season and a 21 point playoff

Anyone who didn’t care about just that could’ve told you he was benefitting from strength of line mates and would never replicate it trying to drive his own production= Ie: his point totals were a terrible way of evaluating his value as a player

Connor McDavid is the best player in hockey. That’s the reason why the Oilers signed him.
