Was wondering that myself last night. I think the grind of his first NHL season is catching up to him .

Maybe. You need to weigh the options vs necessity vs cost. I don't want to make a big post about it, but there's maybe 3 or 4 ways to go about it. And getting off scott free isn't one of them.

In his last 3 seasons of 165 gamew played, Kyle has scored 61 points...or 0.37 ppg which is a 30 pt pace over 82 games.

That is not bad production for averaging about 13 min per game.

The Sabres could send him down to Roch for the next 1 or 2 seasons and free-up about $1.1m per.

I would think the best move would be to send him down this year and let on of the kids get some playing time...then Buyout his 1 year remaing contract after next season.

Buffalo already has a young Larkin.

Hopefully they have a Decision on sam already so things dont get messy trade him if he doesn't want to sign long term

It’s because his line mate Joel Eriksson-EK and Jordan Greenway have both taken the next step and become very good young players and Foligno, who’s good, has benefited on the score sheet.

It’s not because Marcus freaking Foligno found his offensive touch at 29 years old
