Play out of character. 16 teams full of young, high end skill guys do it, starting every April.
The Rangers have a huge team. Not many small guys in that lineup.
Either they will, or they won't. We shall see.
If I'm on that team, I'm going out there hitting everything in a Capitals jersey. - Powerslave

Maybe try and play him with better players than Eakin and Caggiula? - Wetbandit1
I mean Bjork looked pretty good tonight in that spot tonight no ?
Iām not saying Bjork should stay beside Reinhart long term but itās pretty clear that Skinner has lost a step. |

Those are his best moves in one year's time. How are those failures? And if I'm not asking the right question, are you saying all his moves combined is a failure or you just think he hasn't done enough? - TheSabresTaco
I'll go with the last part. He's done the absolute bare minimum and the moves he's made have dug himself a giant hole for this off-season.

He's also acquired 5 draft picks and traded away none. The last two consistently spent picks on crap. He deserves credit for that |

took 6 years and 4 coaches to put reinhart at the position he was drafted at and turns out hes awesome at it
good poop sabres - robz228
It's impossible to not be impressed by Reinhart and Mittelstadt after watching the game. I lost count at 12 exceptional passes by Reinhart, in all 3 zones. |

At the end of the day, the moves were KA's. He bungled Ullmark and Sam (+Montour) last summer, and put himself in a terrible spot. I'd put odds on him overpaying them both now.
I really want to see him move on from GMTM's core guys and build his own team. JB never did.
What's been KA's best move so far? Tage's extension? - Lunaion
Thereās more bad than good for Adams but Iāll judge next seasons offseason/season results more harshly with having a little more management infrastructure
The biggest tests aw Iāll be if heās capable of moving 55 and 21.

It probably wouldāve helped to trade a draft pick for a goalie at some point |

Not sure I agree too much here. He's done a lot of smaller things, got Hall here.. didn't address the goalies, but I wouldn't really say he's dug a hole or done are minimum. Hell, firing Kreuger was fantastic and uugggeee

I dont care about Montour at all but I agree he screwed up Ullmark and Reinhart. We'll see what he does with them this off-season. His best move was firing Ralph Krueger. His worst move was not firing Ralph Krueger sooner - jcragcrumple
You used to be all over JB for creating a logjam at RD and never addressing it. Don't get soft on me now! KA didn't address it either.

I think John coulda spent a few more minutes on the write up, but at the very least it's a good summary of moves.

As you often say, let's wait and watch more than a 15 game sample size next season before forming an opinion? |

Or pick one off of waivers for free which he also had an opportunity to do.
Idk, he very well could suck. He now has Karmanos which is good. We'll see. I agree his moves so far are underwhelming and largely haven't worked. But he is building up a nice war chest of picks so we'll see what he can do with them |

McCabe, Ullmark and Reinhart. That's a nice final exam for him. If he botches it, I will be the first to tar and feather him (or at least I'll get in line) |

Skinner had been playing with Reinhart.
Bjork played there tonight and had 2 goals and the shootout winner.
Weāre talking one game here, but I just donāt get the excuses for Skinner.
Is he doing some good things out there ? Sure. But the lack of production is extremely alarming.

He could easily bring back one of the 3 above and have it be considered a good job when combined with other moves he makes. |
