I can’t believe he wasn’t suspended, that was a horrible display well past any lines of playing tough and physical hockey. I guess how bad you injure someone really is the biggest factor in decision. Perhaps if he would’ve cracked Panarin’s skull he’d have gotten a few games?

I do think you need someone that knows the game. But not someone who perpetrated the crap you want out of the game. A patty la, savard, Conley, would be a better fit. If angling for more impartial, they need to at least know something about hockey. This simply makes the nhl look like a joke.

I'm sure people don't believe it but the Sabres truly aren't that far away from being highly competitive. Two goalies, Eichel and McCabe-or-equal plus two shrewd trades and this is a pretty good playoff team.
