I think 4/6 of those - and perhaps 5/6 - will be on the 23-man roster next year - jcragcrumple
I really see all 6 guys on the roster next season.
Great28- might be a difficult contract/ just signed
R2 - excellent find
Timber tage - finally developing
Borkfeet - gmka just traded for him
Olofsson- 3 million is reasonable for his production
Asplund - part of the ATM line - an actual nhl line
Aside from the expansion draft, this is 6 of 13 forwards for next season.
All inexpensive players with Sabres having rights ( aside from the great28) |

Theyre playing competitive hockey with Sam Reinhart at 1C and Doogie Houser in goal. I really think they're on the right track. Admittedly that sounds insane coming off this season which is probably the most disappointing in franchise history - jcragcrumple
100% agree.
Best "team" play and coaching in a decade.
Hope for the future with cozens, mitts, dahiln, olo |

Steffanos Lekkas is. He just hasn't gotten a chance yet. |

I'd re-sign McCabe and Ullmark which is two moves
Move 3: Bring in either the Florida goalie, one of the CBJ goalies or Freddy Andersen
Two trades further. I think it's a pretty reasonable offseason to-do list and I really believe they'll be pretty good - jcragcrumple
Let's hope so.
I do like how Granato has these guys playing...fast, up-tempo...and he has the kids producing much better.
There alot to like there.
A few moves and they could certainly be very competitive.
They need a couple/three finishers from those trades, and need a 1RhD IMO...that pushes the whole right side into place. |

Scratch off Andersen
There’s a reason most Leafs fans want him gone |

Wilson should be closer to a lifetime ban than a 5,000 fine.
Not sure what the league wants from this ruling?

Dereliction of duty, is a howitzer shell.
I can’t believe he wasn’t suspended, that was a horrible display well past any lines of playing tough and physical hockey. I guess how bad you injure someone really is the biggest factor in decision. Perhaps if he would’ve cracked Panarin’s skull he’d have gotten a few games? |
