This game was a bore... Lightning were disinterested like always with Columbus. Columbus also to me plays boring hockey. When Torts coached the Lightning that team was fun to watch.

The Bolts still can't score at all... if this keeps up they are going to have to win a lot of 2-1 games going forward.

With the empty netter I think that's 31 goals in their last 15 games. One game they scored 6 (20% of those goals). For all that money being paid to the current forwards in the lineup that is a paltry number to look at at.

I also have to say I am over this division lineup and all games within division only. Its so repetitive and honestly I think its going to ruin the first two rounds of the playoffs for me because no matter what teams are playing I will have already watched a 8 game series that has been played already. I hope I am wrong.

Yeah, agreed. People thought it might kickstart some rivalries and raise intensity like the playoffs, but it hasn't delivered. The temperature doesn't turn up until it means something. Winning or losing this game means nothing.

Great to see the Schenn-McElBackup curse broken. Both of them started the same game and the Lightning actually won. Of course, it took a depleted Jackets squad that is currently in the throes of a death spiral to make the McElSchenny combo look good.

To be fair, McElhinney did look good. I winced when he let in Jones' goal and thought 'Here we go again....', but he stood tall and made some key saves to give the Bolts' anemic offense a chance to win it.

The officiating was poop for both sides. I saw a lot (A LOT) of uncalled infractions committed by both sides. The Lightning got away with their fair share. It seems the only thing guaranteed to be called in 90% of situations is getting the stick on somebody's hands (the late call Joseph drew). I mean, Killorn tried to decapitate Elvis right in front of an official. LOL.

I agree here. I miss watching the Bolts play the entire league. I understand why it had to be this way, but I don't have to like it. I'm tired of seeing Carolina, Columbus, Florida, Nashville, and Detroit. No offense to any of them, it's just too much.

I follow people from each division and they all hate it. Imagine fans in the north saying nothing better than seeing McJesus but I can’t take this division play much longer lol
