This game is picking up where the last one left off in terms of chippiness. This definitely has a playoff feel to it.

The Bolts can't score. Since the hot start and now the problems have started they are now 6-8 in their last 14 games and have score around 29 goals in that span for a horrible 2 goals per game average. Not going to win many games averaging 2 goals a game. And one game in that span they scored 6 so it really less then 2 goals per game. On the defensive side they are still okay but that is because of Vasy stealing goals. Their structure has went away leading to them being out shot and out chanced most night. Is the team that dependant on Stamkos and Kucherov for offense and tempo?

It's going to be interesting to see what becomes of the Lightning because the current style of hockey they are playing will lead to a first round exit if they don't start fixing their issues.

This last stretch of games has been painful to watch. Honestly, I've been turning a lot of these games off. I turned off last night's game after the Canes went up by three. No point in watching. I watch to be entertained, not pissed off.

I've been concerned for a few weeks now. Just watching the game last night the whole team looks slow (minus a couple people). They're slow on their passes (which are getting intercepted a lot more), slow on retrieval, slow to get into shooting lanes, etc. I don't know if the schedule is finally burning them out, and they're in need of a few days off to refresh?!? They used to skate circles around other teams, but now it's those other teams that are skating circles around us. Like Stammer said the way the team is playing right now they're not producing good scoring chances lately. All I know is they better figure everything out soon, or else it might be an early exit this year.

No Kuch and Stammer come back and the scoring is fine

I’m more worried about Vasy being exhausted. Playing back2back in a compacted schedule is not great!
