i get a almost daily call from DirecTV/AT&T telling me i can upgrade my service. i don't have an account under this phone number with directv and haven't had one in about 5 years.

I haven't seen effort problems, but I've seen the occasional 'decision making' note that seemed to be more of a nitpick than an issue, if you will. A lot of scouts still give him the "high IQ" trait. And everyone I read pegs him as a first pair, or as sure as you can be.

He plays like Hedman. I wouldn't hate having that guy here. But our offensive pipeline is Jack Quinn and JJ Peterka, so... maybe might want to get a few more of those fellers.

He's like Myers you get that taste of elite 1 Once in a while and then he goes back into the shell not saying he's bad just he needs to be more Consistent and when you have a large Frame like him you shouldn't be scared of anyone yet he plays that why when things get to physical

I'll take the Myers comparison in the way he doesn't use his body to be as physical as you'd like. But I'd end the comparison there. Besides. Guys that carry the puck don't need to hit too often, right?

I look at it this way.. If we're one loss/ maybe 2 from securing the best odds, ok I'll maybe hope that they do lose. I'm not going to lose any sleep if they are picking 4/5 in this draft because they made solid progress with the kids this year. Between Power, Beniers, Hughes, and Eklund you have a solid player. And clearly Bobby Mac has a few others up at the top as well.

They are literally all over the place.

I look at it this way.. If we're one loss/ maybe 2 from securing the best odds, ok I'll maybe hope that they do lose. I'm not going to lose any sleep if they are picking 4/5 in this draft because they made solid progress with the kids this year. Between Power, Beniers, Hughes, and Eklund you have a solid player. And clearly Bobby Mac has a few others up at the top as well.

I agree.

Keep the kids progressing, and they pick where they pick. The Meatballs Crew doesn't care about draft position. The coach is fighting for his job and the kids are having fun.

The Sabres have picked 2nd twice and 1st once and it's literally gotten them nowhere.

Guenther rising fast. Still torn if I had to pick between him and Beniers. Every time I watch Beniers WJ highlights, I'm wowed by his edges and skating. Guenther looks like the natural goal scorer, Beniers the better all around guy, both have amazing hands. I'm actually getting a little excited for our video scout 3000 draft here.
