I don't think it's effort. I think like a lot of 17/18 YO D man he has some lapses in the D zone, it's that he doesn't use his 6'5" 215 size as often as he could. Like, your in college, you should dominate at that stature (which being nominated for the Baker as a freshman, I would say he did)

I think he is still very very good. The quality of his voice isn't what it was but he is still sharp. Van Miller's last year or two is still the gold standard for staying way longer than you should. He embarrassed himself every single game.

I haven't seen effort problems, but I've seen the occasional 'decision making' note that seemed to be more of a nitpick than an issue, if you will. A lot of scouts still give him the "high IQ" trait. And everyone I read pegs him as a first pair, or as sure as you can be.

He plays like Hedman. I wouldn't hate having that guy here. But our offensive pipeline is Jack Quinn and JJ Peterka, so... maybe might want to get a few more of those fellers.

I haven’t seen that, but only read 4/5 draft profiles where “lapses” are mentioned. I would really like to see how good he would be if that was the case, he turned the effort around, as he was already a hobey baker nominee at 18 playing defense. Bet that doesn’t happen often.

No. RJ post cancer is a tougher listen. I'll ride or die with the man, but I think his time is almost up.

I'd rather listen to him than frankin Dunleavy and Ray... We have the worst broadcast team when RJ isn't there ( and like everyone says hes getting tough to listen to as well)

I think people need to chill out on who we is being traded and who is being protected. Let's finish out the year and see the progress of each player. And Rhino is not a 1C.
