The game will also be nationally televised on NHLN (local market blackout rules may still apply). |

Bill, how do you see this upcoming draft folding out(not the expansion draft)?
With little to no scouting done in the last year it may be hard to project who pans out.
Teams may get some duds in the first round and also find more gems than usual in the second and third rounds this year.
What is your take on how this draft will shake out? How effective has the scouting been this past year? |

If anything I think this might benefit us drafting in that 10is range. Maybe you get a top 5 guy some picks back |

Twarynski recalled from taxi squad. You’d assume if Patrick couldn’t go Aube-Kubel would come back in the lineup. Vigneault really sending a message to him about his undisciplined penalties. |

I'd like to see Allison play as well today as he did against the Pens. Hoping today he get's his first NHL goal. Overall though, I'm not getting the warm and fuzzies about this game today. |

Hope Hart's play from Thursday carries over to this afternoon. Just asking for good effort out of everyone. Win, lose or shootout. |

NAK has been downright awful recently. I'd rather see him sit even if Patrick is out. I'd rather see another Phantom come up to play in his place. |

I have seen enough of Bunnaman and Twarynski. They are not NHL players. |

NAK should not get another start this season. He’s terrible. |

Neither one of them has had the extensive chances to find their way in the NHL that NAK has had. I'm OK with giving them the opportunity. |

Bill , do you see Sandin getting a shot at some point? I’m sure they didn’t bring him overseas just to be an AHLer. |

He's been pretty banged up with LV this season, missing some time and playing through what he can. Then, with the season interruptions, it's been a tough challenge for him on top of the normal small-rink adaptations. He's been OK with the Phantoms but nothing that screams "Get this guy in the NHL lineup right now." |

The U.S. leagues have been scouted all season. Ditto Europe. The regional Canadian-based scouts have seen their main league (if it's been playing, that is). All cross-over work has had to be done by video.
Far from ideal, but every organization is in the same boat. |

There will be some later round gems I think. The concern I have is this philadelphia curse. We may get a solid draft spot but then draft a bust or someone who gets hurt or crippled early on in their career.
That's typical philly flyers luck |

Thanks for answering, Bill! I want sure the level of scouting they had this past season. I agree that every time is in the same boat but I think there may be quite a few surprises this draft, both good and bad.
My hope is that philly drafts on the good side of things and we pull a gem out of the pile |
