It really makes no difference If the Wild make the playoffs, They don't have a chance to win and this season Is full of asterisks, I'd rather they just end the season In early May and go rest up and get ready for next season. |

Don't you think the experience would be good even if they get bounced in the first round?

Colorado 1st
Vegas 2nd
Wild 3rd
Blues 4th
Colorado probably beats the Blues in a grudge match in 5-6
I don’t know how the Wild play against Vegas
Flower can be beat. Not a Great goalie but a damn good goalie
Guerin is doing his thing. He has made smart moves I think. (Albeit I do not keep up with your team). Kaprizov is Good! I look towards next season when we are both back in the central and have to deal with a healthy Stars team ha ha and the Coyotes are coming to the Central then as well |

I believe this team is deep enough to make a decent run in the post season. |

I disagree. Not with how Colorado has been playing. They just win. Too many guns on their team |

The Wild won't do well against elite teams, Carolina, Colorado, NYI, Tampa Bay, Vegas, Washington. |

Never know. If they can somehow get past the west rounds the central normally is a great division and superior to the other divisions
Carolina is run and gun. Play great defense with a strong offensive pressure you take that game away from them |

Unfortunately no, history shows this organization doesn't learn from its mistakes. Repeatedly |

I don't know about that. Wild are 4-2 against Vegas which includes winning the las 4 in a row, one of those games by shut out. Good thing Vegas scored in the last 30 seconds of the first game or that would have also gone the Wild way.
Yes they are 3-5 against the Avs but have blown them out in two of those games.....

The Wild are 8 and 9 currently against Teams likely to make the playoffs, Also the Wild are missing a number 1 center and elite goaltending those are two things that are required to go deep Into the playoffs. |

Though I don't think they have the roster to make a deep run in the playoffs, I think they have the roster to at least win in the 1st Rd. Especially if they are playing against Vegas. They just seem to have the GK's number for some odd reason. I think making the playoffs and getting the feeling of disappointment for guys like Kaprizov and Fiala-la-la-la would be a good thing. Would possibly help build their resolve to be even that much greater for future seasons.
One thing I'm curious about on the Wild's PP of late. With Bonino getting a lion's share of time on there, has it become more potent because Bonino is winning more faceoffs, hence the Wild have control of the puck right away, giving them the ability to set up without having to waste 10-20 seconds just TRYING to get the puck into the offensive zone? And that doesn't even include getting control of the puck once it is in the offensive zone. So long story longer, is winning faceoffs and puck possession the driving factors in why the Wild's PP is so much better as compared to a month ago. |

Forgot to add this into the post above...so if you remove the Avs from this equation, aren't the wild above .500 at 5-4 vs playoff bound teams? I know the Wild aren't close to the talent that the Avs have, and the Avs have pretty much owned them this season. The Wild are a better team that most people credit them with, but they aren't going to win the Cup this year. And I personally don't expect them to either. But I agree Shady, they aren't going deep. |

Yes, that was my original point... i said i thought they were deep enough to have a "decent" post season... i think they can get a first round win. |
