Losing Verhaeghe from the lineup really sucks. Out week to week sounds as if it could wind up being a long time. He took a high hit during the garbage can game in Dallas. I thought he was gonna leave the game then.

Ekblad being out threw a spanner in the works, but this entire roster is something of a sleeper. It has quietly become one of the most improved teams in the league and it seems like not everyone has caught on yet.

Great pace and game so far. Serious playoff vibes here!

I feel like driedger usually saves 1 if not all 3 of those goals. We had no finish we blew some glorious chances at least 2 by mr tippett. Kept the shots down and still lost. Bummer.

Agreed. The Lightning had no business winning that game. If McElBackup had been in net, it would have been 10-2 Panthers.
