I thought Snowflake was his girlfriend and Makar is the pup, but I lose track of all the changes....

Even though he is 28, will Stan give him a chance to make the team next year ? His current salary is about $500,000 . IMO , Maxim needs to come across the pond this summer and work out with Kane, The Cat and our Swiss/Russian rookie to get acclimated to the NHL game and learn English. What the Hawks need from Maxim is not just make the squad but put pucks in the net as a second liner and make slap shot goals on the power play. He has a powerful slap shot , is willing to get in front of the net( 6’ 3” big body) and he is fast skater. ...however, can he play at a high lever throughout the season? That is what Stan needs to find out.
