I really don't see why the NHL can't force a teams lineup to be cap compliant in the playoffs.

If you are over the cap because of LTIR, then you can't dress everyone if they return come playoff time, meaning Tampa would have to "Healthy Scratch" 14 Million worth of players if Stamkos/Kucherov return

I don't think Tampa is even done yet. 😂 I think they'll trade for another RD. I can't see Cooper wanting to play Foote, Rutta or Schenn come playoffs.

Then why isn't the NHL doing anything about it? Are you Kucherov's doctor? The can of worms was opened years ago with Patty Kane healing up for the playoffs on LTIR so Stan Bowman could go shopping for Antoine Vermette.

There's been so many examples since then. Gary can't let one team get away with cap circumvention and not allow it for another team doing the same thing. The CBA needs to be changed. But until that happens we can expect more tomfoolery to happen.

Seems pretty sketchy what they are doing down there but I can't complain I guess. The Mythical Robidas island swallowed up Leafs for years.
