Thank God us cord cutters have Pete Weber.

So you do read your comments section heh? You're overvaluing the wins over Dallas and Chicago. Both mediocre teams basically on the same level as the Preds. Just because the Preds traditionally struggle against Dallas doesn't make beating them good wins when they struggle themselves to beat anybody else. There's a huge drop off between the top three teams in the central and the rest of the division. We can't lose sight of that. I can't believe you're making me say this, but two wins during this streak against the top tier teams is nothing to raise a banner over.

The Preds already won one game against Tampa this year that they had no business winning, with three of their top four defensemen out. With the injury situation even worse now I'm not expecting a second miracle tonight. I'll be happy with a solid effort. If they do manage to pull out a win tonight, that is something to feel good about.

Believe me...I am rooting for this team as well. Just frustrated with the talent this team has and the position their in, is a head scratcher.
Would also like some “Hockey Buzz” on Paul’s blog. I can read the same comments on the Pred’s web page.

I feel ya. I barely even even read Paul's blogs because I usually already know what he's going to say before I even click. I'm only here as often as I am because OTF won't let me create an account for some reason, lol.

I don't like sounding negative in every post either, I'm honestly not even trying to. Just being honest and trying to stay realistic. I don't want to sound like I'm pooping over the win stretch like it doesn't mean anything, it does, but I'm not going to do cartwheels over barely beating mediocre teams. I've watched enough hockey in my life to tell the difference between a good team and one that's playing over their heads.

Somebody's got to keep Paul and his blinding gold-plated optimism in check. I still can't help but think some of his recent comments are directed at some of us here doing just that... If true, I'm kind of flattered.

Looks like the Preds came crashing back to Earth tonight. You gotta bury your chances, period!
