Bill,
Trent Frederic is not listed in the B’s lineup, scratched, or injury list in your write up...do you know something we don’t? Is he getting traded to the Flyers (please say that’s true!). |

That's because I didn't list the Taxi Squad, where he currently has been placed. He's day-to-day with (non-COVID) illness and was placed on the Taxi Squad for 23-man roster purposes. If he's moved back onto the regular roster tomorrow's game, I will add him back in. |

Will the 4th goalie on Bruins depth chart eat them alive again tomorrow? Gee I wonder. |

I know it is early and both players have yet to get to the NHL but with Caulfield winning the Hobey Baker trophy and getting 2 goals in his AHL debut, did the flyers make a mistake and overlook him to take York. Again I know it is early just throwing out a topic for discussion with Flyers needing a sniper. |

Season over anyway. Not mathematicially, but in reality. Now flyers going to win so many games they can
to worsen their draft position. Like Groundhog Day ha ha |

In fact, he also had an assist last night to go along with his 2 goals. I still find it amazing that Chucky passed on this guy TWICE!! I was literally screaming at the TV when Chucky picked York. Let's see, the Flyers obviously don't need a guy like Cole cause they only employ big soft players in their lineup(they don't want a dynamic small guy in their lineup). York better be the next Leetch as advertised or this will be yet another fail by our boy Chucky( Thanks Homer).

Caufield was the consensus best hot pick. Flyers thought they were smart picking a slow D man with some upside but......... |

The amount of line juggling has been interesting and frustrating. S pairs have been a little more consistent. |

No continuity at all. They call up the tanner guy only to sit him. Makes sense |

Time will tell. I will say look at the defense and offense. We don’t have depth on d in regard to prospects like the forward position.
Time will tell if CC is more like St. Louis , Debrincat , or gerbe. |

Hey Bill,
Regarding the OHL, I think the chances of it happening are pretty much at nil. The province just started another 30 day stay at home order this week, pretty much a total lockdown...can’t even (or not supposed to) travel to my cottage....so I think they have probably run out of runway, if you consider a 2 week training camp....good for Wisdom, Millman and Foerester I guess, but I feel bad for the kids in their draft year. Scouts are going to earn their pay I guess. I listened to the podcast with the Flyers asst. GM...he seemed to down play it a bit, but this draft could be really interesting. |

He’s a nice player...seemed to send a message early on that he wouldn’t back down and plays a really physical game. Has some skill, good skater. I like that kid. |

Such a frustrating season. Those offensive lineups look solid. Defensive pairings not the best but not as bad as the results have shown. Goalies implode. Special team fail. Is the coaching really that bad? So much experience on that staff, it’s brutal to watch. I hate turning the game on a little late and it’s already 1 or 2 to 0. |

I love narratives. Why did the Flyers draft Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee if they only like big soft players? Shouldn't we actually wait and see what happens with Caulfield or is he already a guarantee?
