The guy disappears alot this year and he is no where to be found when i watch the games. Trade whatever you get. I can see a 3rd with a decent prospect or a 2nd.

except hes always working hard. grinding in the corners. getting lose pucks? hes not a first line player forced to play on the first line. simply because of work ethic.

Reports came out on NHL radio today that Iafallo's camp is looking for 4+ years at $5M, while LA is looking to give 3 years at $4M. Seems like 3 years at closer to $5M or 4 years at closer to $4M would get a deal done.

Im of the mind set to trade him tbh. Even though his work ethic is super good. But we never get to see higher skill lvl players with Kopi. And trading him forces that. We can get more Kempe (unless traded), and or turcotte on the LW. Kupari and etc. And thats something id like to see.

I am ok with 3 years at $4M... anything more or longer.. then trade him.. we have so many young players coming up than can fill his position on the team

I'm sure Blake is of a similar mindset, which is why there is still no deal done less than 72 hours before the deadline.

I would absolutely trade him, even if his demands are reasonable. He produces like an average 2nd liner while playing on the top line. You could give just about anyone 20 minutes per night alongside Kopitar and get at least most of Iafallo's production. He's very replaceable and you might just find someone better to replace him with. The last time that Kopitar had a legitimate top-line winger to play with, he won the Cup with him. Having a <20-goal scorer on the top line has resulted in how much success these last few years? The team's hopes of getting back to being a contender hinge on finding better players than that, so you might as well start auditioning now.

The problem traditionally is that Kopi doesnt actually make his wingers better. Why we nvr got high end talent. While I agree we should trade Iffalo. Id like to see some of our youngers kid play with kopi ala , kupari, turcotte and even kempe. Trend in LA is keep Brown and Iffalo with him. Because it performs well. Brown had a hot start. But hes a 3rd a liner. Lets see some young talent play with him.

I'd love to see him shipped for a 3-4 defender who is young and will fit into the group of young kids coming.
I like his work ethic, but as someone else said we can get more like him for cheaper contract.im onboard to trade him out.

Sandin would be a great get for us. And AI is exactly the type of player the Leafs could use in the playoffs.

I'd love sandin in a kings jersey, but honestly I dont think iafallo alone gets him and if Blake can make it happen I'm all in.but i do believe iafalllo for liljagren could happen, and I believe he could be a good second pairing guy of the future.decent offensive and defensive game.

I also believe iafallo is overpricing himself and at those dollars he will become a free agent,so liljagren for a rental is a win in my books.

Let's see what Blake can extract from someone. I'd rather see a prospect versus another pick. Got plenty of those. Would like to see a 21-24 year old capable of playing in the NHL in the next year or so.
